Scholarship Benefits and Duration

Eligibility Requirements

• Academic Standing: Must be admitted to the first year of a Degree or Diploma course in core engineering branches (Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Agriculture, or Textile Technology) at an AICTE-approved institution.
• Lateral Entry: Candidates admitted to the second year via lateral entry are eligible.
• Family Income: Total annual family income from all sources must not exceed ₹8 lakh.
• Academic Gap: The gap between passing the qualifying exam and current admission must not exceed two years.

Selection and Tie-Breaking Criteria

Selection is based on the merit of the qualifying examination (12th grade for Degree, 10th grade for Diploma). For lateral entry, the average percentage of all diploma semesters is considered. In the event of a tie, the candidate with a higher score in the 10th-grade examination or the older candidate will be given preference.

Application and Verification Process

2. Complete the registration and eKYC verification.
3. Submit academic documents, income certificates, and personal details.
4. The institution will conduct the first level of verification, followed by a secondary scrutiny by AICTE.

• Branch Changes: Shifting to a non-core engineering branch after receiving the scholarship will result in disqualification and a mandatory refund of all disbursed funds.
• Double Benefits: This scholarship cannot be combined with any other financial assistance, salary, or stipend.
