Department-wise Vacancy Distribution
The 83 vacancies are distributed across 34 clinical and non-clinical departments. Eligibility Criteria and Essential Qualifications
Applicants must possess a postgraduate degree (MD, MS, DNB, DM, MCh, or MDS) relevant to the department they are applying for. Key conditions include:
- Completion Date: Qualifying degrees must be completed by 31 August 2026.
- Registration: Mandatory medical registration is required before joining.
- Residency Limit: Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency under the Central Residency Scheme are ineligible.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 45 years as of 22 July 2026, with standard relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: up to 15 years).
Salary and Emoluments
Selected candidates will be placed in the 7th CPC Level-11 Pay Matrix with a basic pay of Rs 67,700, supplemented by Non-Practising Allowance (NPA) and other applicable allowances as per institute norms.
Application and Selection Process
The selection process consists of a written examination (conducted only if applicant numbers exceed three times the vacancy count) followed by a personal interview, or an interview process alone at the discretion of the Executive Director. Candidates may apply for up to three different departments, provided they submit separate application forms and fees for each.
