Overview of AIIMS Deoghar Junior Resident Recruitment 2026
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Deoghar has initiated the recruitment process for 29 Junior Resident (Non-Academic) positions. This is a contractual engagement for a period of 6 months, which may be extended up to a maximum of 18 months based on performance and institutional requirements.
Vacancy Distribution
An additional 5% horizontal reservation is applicable for Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates in accordance with government regulations.
Eligibility for AIIMS Deoghar Junior Resident
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Registration: Candidates must hold a valid Medical Registration Certificate from the MCI or State Medical Council.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 33 years as of the date of the interview. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), and PwD categories as per official norms.
- Ineligibility: Candidates who have already completed 18 months of Junior Residency are not eligible to apply.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted in offline mode. The application form can be downloaded from the official AIIMS Deoghar website. Candidates are required to send the physical form along with a Demand Draft of the applicable fee (Rs. 3,000 for UR, Rs. 1,000 for OBC/EWS, nil for others) to the Registrar Office, 4th Floor, AIIMS Devipur, Deoghar-814152. Additionally, a scanned copy of the application must be emailed to the provided official recruitment email address. The envelope must be superscribed with 'Application for the Post of JR (Non-Academic)'.
Selection Criteria
The selection will be finalized through an interview or a written test. The specific schedule for the selection process will be updated on the official website. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
