Overview of AIIMS Kalyani Junior Resident (Non-Academic) Recruitment 2026
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Kalyani has released an official notification for the recruitment of a Junior Resident (Non-Academic) on a contract basis. The selection process involves a written examination and a walk-in interview scheduled for August 2026.
Eligibility for AIIMS Kalyani Junior Resident Position
Candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria before applying:
- Qualification: MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
- Mandatory Requirements: Completion of a compulsory internship with a valid certificate and registration with any State Medical Council.
- Experience Constraints: Candidates who have already completed two terms of Junior Residency (Non-Academic) at any AIIMS or other institutions are ineligible. Only those who passed MBBS within the last three years (as of 28 July 2026) will be considered.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 33 years. PwBD candidates are eligible for a 10-year age relaxation.
Application and Selection Process
The application process is conducted entirely online. Candidates are required to fill out the form accurately and upload all necessary documents, including proof of internship completion and medical council registration. The recruitment process includes a written exam followed by a walk-in interview, both held on 5 August 2026.
Application Fee: The fee for all categories (Unreserved, OBC, SC, ST, EWS) is Rs. 1,000. Candidates who have already paid for Advt. No. 1440/E-12015/24/26-(SR/T/JR) do not need to pay again.
