Overview of APCPDCL Assistant Executive Engineer Recruitment 2026
The Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APCPDCL) has announced a recruitment drive for 60 Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) positions. This process is part of a common recruitment examination conducted alongside other state power utilities, including APTRANSCO, APEPDCL, APSPDCL, and APGENCO. Candidates will be assigned to specific utilities based on merit and the preferences submitted during the application process.
Eligibility Criteria for APCPDCL AEE 2026
Candidates must possess a degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a university recognized by UGC and AICTE as of 25 June 2026. Note that engineering degrees obtained through distance education via study centers located outside Andhra Pradesh are not recognized for this selection process.
Age Requirements (As of 1 July 2026)
- General / OC: 18 to 42 years
- SC / ST / BC / EWS: Up to 47 years
- PwBD: Up to 52 years
Application Process and Deadlines
The application process is entirely online. Candidates must complete registration, fee payment, and document upload through the official portal before the deadline.
Application Fee: All candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000.
Selection Procedure
The selection is based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) conducted in English medium. There is no interview stage. The exam consists of 100 questions covering core technical subjects and general aptitude/knowledge. Candidates must meet the category-specific qualifying marks to be considered for the merit list.
Important Application Warnings
- Aadhaar Verification: Ensure your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card before starting the registration process.
- Complete Submission: Receiving a Journal Number after fee payment does not mean the application is complete. You must proceed to upload certificates and submit the full form.
- Utility Preferences: Choices for utility and zone/unit preferences are final. No changes will be permitted after submission.
- EWS/Local Status: Ensure EWS certificates are issued within one year prior to 25 June 2026. If you studied up to Class VII in an educational institution, a study certificate is mandatory for local candidature claims; a residence certificate will not suffice.
