The Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of two contractual positions: Project Assistant and Data Entry Operator. Interested candidates should attend the scheduled walk-in interview at the institute premises to be considered for these project-based roles.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet specific educational and age criteria defined by the institute for each role.
- Project Assistant: Graduate or Master's Degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Social Sciences, Medical Social Work, or Psychology. Candidates must possess at least 3 years of relevant field experience. Preference will be given to those with proficiency in statistical tools, computer applications, and scientific proposal writing.
- Data Entry Operator: Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution with a typing speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.
Age Limitations
The upper age limit is 35 years for the Project Assistant post and 25 years for the Data Entry Operator position as of the notification date.
Selection Process and Walk-in Procedure
The selection will be conducted through a direct walk-in interview/test. No formal online application form submission is required prior to the interview date. Candidates should arrive at the venue with the following documents:
- Original educational and experience certificates.
- A set of self-attested photocopies of all testimonials.
- Valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID).
- Category certificate, if applicable.
- Recent passport-size photographs.
Note: Candidates must reach the venue between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM on the interview date for registration. Late arrivals may not be permitted to participate in the selection process.

Application Fee
An application fee of Rs. 200 is applicable for EWS category candidates. Female candidates and persons with benchmark disabilities (PWBD) are exempted from the fee payment.
