Eligibility Criteria for DRDO CVRDE Apprentice 2026

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an ITI certificate duly recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
• Trade Duration: The ITI trade must be of a minimum two-year duration, as per the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship's Gazette Notification. However, trades like Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA), Painter, Plumber, Welder, and Food Production are exempt from this two-year duration requirement.
• Candidate Type: Only candidates who completed their qualifying examination as regular students are eligible. Private candidates are strictly not eligible.
• Passing Year: Candidates must have passed their qualifying ITI examination in the years 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026. Those who passed prior to 2023 are not eligible.

DRDO CVRDE Selection Process 2026

The selection process for DRDO CVRDE ITI Apprentice Trainees is streamlined and does not involve any written examination. Candidates will be selected based on the following stages:
