Eligibility for DCHS East Godavari Posts
Candidates must meet the following educational requirements to be considered for these positions:
- General Duty Attender: Must have passed SSC (10th class) or its equivalent.
- Lab Attendant: Must have passed SSC (10th class) or equivalent. Additionally, applicants must hold a Lab Attendant Course certificate or have completed the Intermediate (Lab Attendant Vocational Course) from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, or a government-recognized institution.
Age Criteria and Relaxation
The maximum age limit for applicants is 42 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms:
- SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years
- Differently-abled persons: 10 years

- 75% weightage based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Up to 10 marks for completed years of service after acquiring the requisite qualification.
- Up to 15 marks for contract/outsourcing service, including specific weightage for COVID-19 duties and working area.
