Overview of GSSSB Multi Purpose Health Worker (Male) Recruitment 2026
The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandagi Mandal (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has initiated the recruitment process for 100 Multi Purpose Health Worker (Male) positions (Class-3) under the Health and Family Welfare Department. This is an online-based recruitment drive conducted through the OJAS portal under Advertisement No. 441/202627.

Note: 10% horizontal reservation is applicable for Ex-Servicemen. There are no reserved vacancies for women or PwD candidates in this specific notification.
Eligibility for GSSSB MPHW Posts
- Education: Candidates must possess a minimum one-year certificate or diploma in Multi-Purpose Health Worker or Sanitary Inspector course from a government-recognized institution/ITI.
- Additional Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of 31 July 2026. Age relaxation is provided for reserved categories and ex-servicemen as per state norms.
- Gender: Strictly limited to male candidates.
Application and Selection Process
Applications must be submitted online via the OJAS portal. The selection process consists of a single-stage objective MCQ examination (CBRT/OMR mode) spanning 180 minutes. The paper is divided into two sections:
- Part A: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Language Comprehension (90 marks).
- Part B: Subject-specific knowledge (120 marks).
A negative marking of 1/4th mark applies per incorrect answer. Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 40% in each section to qualify for the merit list.
