GSSSB Senior Industries Inspector Recruitment 2026 Overview
The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandagi Mandal (GSSSB) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of one Senior Industries Inspector (Class-3) under the Commissionerate of Industries, Government of Gujarat. This position is part of a Special Recruitment Drive reserved exclusively for candidates falling under the Low Vision (LV) disability category (40% to 70%).
Eligibility Criteria for Senior Industries Inspector
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements as prescribed by the Industries and Mines Department:
- Educational Qualification: Second Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) OR a Diploma in Engineering (excluding Civil Engineering) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a post not below the rank of Junior Industries Inspector or equivalent, either in the Gujarat Commissionerate of Industries or a recognized production/manufacturing unit under a Government/Limited Company.
- Additional Requirements: Proficiency in computer applications and working knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
- Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as of 10 August 2026 (Subject to category-specific age relaxations up to 45 years).

Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The selection will be conducted through a single-stage Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) consisting of 210 questions totaling 210 marks. The examination is divided into two parts:
- Part A (90 Marks): Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Language Comprehension.
- Part B (120 Marks): Technical subject-related topics including Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, and Industries Policy.
Note: A negative marking of 1/4th mark applies for every incorrect answer. Candidates must secure at least 40% in each part separately to qualify.
Application Guidelines

The application fee is 500 INR for General candidates and 400 INR for reserved/Divyang categories, payable online.
