Overview of GSSSB Female Health Worker Recruitment 2026
The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has initiated a special recruitment drive to fill 25 backlog vacancies for the post of Female Health Worker (Class-3) under the Health and Family Welfare Department. This drive is exclusively reserved for candidates identified as Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for GSSSB Health Worker
Only female candidates meeting the specific disability benchmarks are eligible to apply. Applicants must hold a valid Disability Certificate in Form V, VI, or VII.
- Educational Qualification: Secondary/Higher Secondary School Certificate plus a government-recognized Female Health Worker Basic Training Course or ANM Course with registration under the Gujarat Nursing Council.
- Language: Proficient in Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of 20 June 2026. Relaxation is applicable: 15 years for General PwD female candidates and up to 20 years for Reserved Category PwD female candidates.

Selection Methodology
The selection involves a single-stage Computer Based Response Test (CBRT) or OMR exam consisting of two parts:
- Part-A (90 Marks): General topics including Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Languages.
- Part-B (120 Marks): Technical subjects covering Community Health, Child Health, Midwifery, and Health Center Management.
Warning: A negative marking system is in place, with 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect answer. A minimum qualifying mark of 40% in both parts is mandatory.
