The Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB), Gandhinagar, has initiated the recruitment process for 110 vacancies for the post of Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), Class-3, under the Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board. This recruitment is conducted through a competitive written examination process as per Advertisement No. 419/202627.

Eligibility for GSSSB Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical)
Candidates must ensure they meet the following criteria by the application deadline of 29 June 2026:
- Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering from a recognized Technical Examination Board or University. Candidates must also possess basic computer knowledge.
- Language Proficiency: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 33 years of age as of 29 June 2026. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories and women candidates as per Gujarat Government norms.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection is based on a Computer-Based Response Test (CBRT) or OMR-based exam comprising two sections:
- Part-A: Reasoning, Data Interpretation, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Language Comprehension (90 Marks).
- Part-B: Technical subjects related to Mechanical Engineering (120 Marks).
The exam duration is 3 hours with a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer. A minimum of 40% qualifying marks is required in both sections.

- Access the official OJAS portal at https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Select 'Apply' and locate Advertisement No. 419/202627.
- Enter personal and educational details carefully; data once confirmed cannot be modified.
- Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the specified JPG format (max 15 KB).
- Pay the application fee online via Debit Card, UPI, or Internet Banking.
- Generate and save the Confirmation Number for future reference and print the final application.
