The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has issued an official notification (Advertisement No. 433/2026-27) to recruit 82 X-Ray Assistant, Class-3 personnel under the Health and Family Welfare Department. Eligibility Criteria for GSSSB X-Ray Assistant
Candidates must ensure they meet the following educational and age requirements as of 3 August 2026:
- Education: Passed HSC (12th) with Physics, Chemistry, and English. Basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services rules is mandatory.
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years. Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms for reserved categories, women, and ex-servicemen.
Selection Process and Pay Scale
The selection will be based on a single-stage Computer Based/OMR written examination consisting of 210 objective questions. The exam duration is 3 hours with a negative marking of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer.
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹26,000 for the first five years, after which they will be placed in Pay Level-2 (₹19,900 to ₹63,200) following satisfactory service.
