Eligibility for NIT Trichy JRF & Project Associate-I
Candidates must possess the following educational qualifications from a recognized university or institute:
- For JRF: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6.5 CGPA) in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Computational Materials Science, or Nanotechnology. A valid GATE qualification is required for B.E./B.Tech candidates.
- For Project Associate-I: M.E./M.Tech (First Class) in the aforementioned disciplines, including Physics, Chemistry, AI/ML, or Data Science. B.E./B.Tech holders may also apply, subject to funding agency guidelines.

Remuneration Details
- JRF: ₹37,000 (Years 1-2), ₹42,000 (Year 3) + HRA
- Project Associate-I: ₹30,000 (Years 1-2), ₹33,000 (Year 3) + HRA
