Recruitment Overview
The Office of the District Programme Officer (Bal Vikas evam Pushtahar / Child Development & Nutrition), Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, has published an official notification (No. C-679/Zi.Ka.Adhi/Ba.Vi.Pari/Vigyapti/2026-27) for the direct recruitment of 105 Anganwadi Karyakartri (Anganwadi Workers). This recruitment is purely on an honorarium basis across seven distinct Child Development Project areas (both rural and urban) within the Amroha district. Only female candidates who are residents of the respective Gram Sabha or Ward are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Gender & Residency
- Only female candidates are eligible.
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of the specific Gram Sabha (for rural areas) or Ward (for urban areas) where the vacancy is announced.
- If an eligible resident candidate is unavailable in the Gram Sabha, permanent residents of the associated Nyaya Panchayat may be evaluated.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed Intermediate (Class 12) or its equivalent.
- Higher academic qualifications (up to postgraduate level) are preferred and will be factored into the preparation of the final merit list.
Age Limit (As on 01-07-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- The Date of Birth recorded in the High School (Class 10) marksheet/certificate will serve as the sole valid proof of age.
Income and Reservation Preferences
- Preference in recruitment is given first to eligible widows, legally divorced, or separated women from families living Below the Poverty Line (BPL).
- Annual BPL Income Limits (as per UP Govt orders):
- Rural Areas: ₹46,080
- Urban Areas: ₹56,460
- Income, residence, and caste certificates must be digitally signed, verifiable online, and issued by the competent Tehsil authority.
Selection Process
The selection process is direct and 100% merit-based. No written examination or interview will be conducted.
- A merit list will be constructed using the academic scores of qualified candidates.
- Candidates with higher educational qualifications will be prioritized as per the guidelines of Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17 September 2025.
- Final selection is confirmed post document verification of academic, reservation, and domicile certificates.
