The Public Service Commission, West Bengal (WBPSC) has officially released the notification for the Miscellaneous Services Recruitment Examination 2024 (Advertisement No. 13/2024). This is a prime opportunity for graduates looking to secure a stable government position in West Bengal.
Important Recruitment Details
Candidates can apply for various Group-B and Group-C positions, including Assistant Child Development Project Officer, Disaster Management Officer, and Revenue Inspector. Appointments are initially made on a temporary basis.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
- Language Requirement: Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (Except for Nepali mother-tongue candidates).
- Age Limit: 20 to 39 years as of 01.01.2024. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories as per West Bengal state norms.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted in three stages: Preliminary Examination (Screening), Final Examination (Conventional Type), and Personality Test. Note that marks from the Preliminary exam will not be considered for the final merit list.
