PAU Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has released an official notification for 1 Junior Research Fellow post on a contractual basis. The recruitment is for candidates with the required engineering or science qualification and a valid national-level eligibility test such as CSIR/UGC NET, GATE, or MHRD qualification. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have B.E., B.Tech., or B.Sc. in the relevant field with at least 60% marks or 6.00/10 OGPA. Candidates with M.Tech in Processing & Food Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Post Harvest Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or an equivalent discipline need at least 65% marks or 6.50/10 OGPA. A valid national-level qualification such as CSIR, UGC, NET, GATE, or MHRD is required. Ph.D. holders may also be eligible without a master's degree in the relevant subject. Non-NET candidates with M.Tech or M.Sc. may be considered at a lower stipend as mentioned in the notice.
Salary
The selected candidate will receive Rs. 37,000 per month. The notification also mentions Rs. 30,000 + 18% HRA for non-NET candidates with M.Tech or M.Sc., subject to the terms of the advertisement.
