The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has released a recruitment notification for 8 contractual positions, including Teaching Assistants, Senior Research Fellows (SRF), Research Associates (RA), and Young Professionals. Eligibility Criteria
- Teaching Assistant (Engg): Ph.D. in Processing/Food Engineering or Food Technology.
- Teaching Assistant: Master’s degree in Food Science and Nutrition or Food Technology.
- Senior Research Fellow: M.Sc. (Agri.) in Agronomy with two years of experience.
- Research Associate: Ph.D. in Food Science and Nutrition or Food Technology with four years of experience.
- Young Professional I: M.Sc. in Food Science and Nutrition or equivalent.
Salary Structure
Remuneration is determined based on the post and NET qualification status:
- Teaching Assistant (Engg): Rs. 62,000 (with NET) / Rs. 52,000 (without NET).
- Teaching Assistant: Rs. 52,000 (with NET) / Rs. 45,000 (without NET).
- Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 (with NET) / Rs. 30,000 (without NET).
- Research Associate: Rs. 67,000 (with NET) / Rs. 42,000 (without NET).
- Young Professional I: Rs. 42,000 (with NET).
