Eligibility and Experience Criteria
Applicants must possess a recognised medical qualification (MD/MS/DM/MCh/DNB) as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Teaching and research experience requirements vary by post:
- Professor: 14 years post-MD/MS experience.
- Additional Professor: 10 years post-MD/MS experience.
- Associate Professor: 6 years post-MD/MS experience.
- Assistant Professor: 3 years post-MD/MS experience (subject to specific super-specialty criteria).
Age Limits
The age criteria are calculated as of the application closing date:
- Professor / Additional Professor: Maximum 58 years.
- Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: Maximum 50 years.
