Overview of Bengaluru South Pourakarmika Recruitment 2026
The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Bengaluru South District, has invited applications for the recruitment of 102 Pourakarmika positions across Ramanagara, Channapatna, and Kanakapura Nagarasabhes. These appointments are made on a Neravu Paavathi (direct wage) basis in accordance with the Municipal Service Rules 2010.

Eligibility and Priority Criteria
Applicants must be Indian citizens and proficient in the Kannada language. No formal educational qualifications are required; however, candidates must provide a self-declaration of their Kannada language proficiency. Applicants must be between 18 and 50 years of age as of 31 July 2026. Priority for selection is granted to candidates with prior sanitation experience, dependents of deceased Pourakarmikas, and members of the notified Manual Scavenger community.

Selection and Application Process
The selection process is based on document verification and merit criteria defined by the Appointment Committee. There is no written exam. Interested individuals should obtain the prescribed application form from their respective Nagarasabhe office and submit it in person with the necessary supporting documents, including age proof, experience certificates (if any), and a medical fitness certificate.
