Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must hold a Postgraduate degree in the relevant medical or dental specialty. As per the NMC Regulations 2025, DNB and DNB Super Speciality qualifications are recognized. Candidates with a Postgraduate Diploma may be considered only if PG degree holders are unavailable; however, a 10-mark deduction applies to diploma holders in the merit ranking.

- SC/ST (Male/Female): 42 Years
Bihar State Health Service cadre members are entitled to a 5-year age relaxation. Divyang candidates may avail of a 10-year relaxation, subject to specific rules.
Selection Process
The selection will be strictly merit-based. A panel will be prepared based on educational qualifications and existing reservation policies of the Bihar Government. Postgraduate degree holders are prioritized over diploma holders. Selected candidates will be called for document verification and counseling.
