Eligibility and Qualifications
Applicants must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The general academic requirement for Assistant Professor posts is a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) along with a clear NET/SLET/SET score or a PhD awarded under UGC 2009/2016 regulations. Specific requirements apply for Computer Application, Music, Librarian, and Physical Education roles.

Selection Process
The selection process consists of a single written examination of 3 hours involving 120 multiple-choice questions. Centres are restricted to Srinagar and Jammu. Candidates should ensure they have a valid Domicile Certificate issued before the closing date to avoid rejection.
