Eligibility for RCB Recruitment 2026
Candidates must ensure they meet the specific educational and age criteria before submitting their application.
- Research Associate I: PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Plant Biology, Bioengineering, Agricultural Microbiology, or Life Sciences. Candidates must have experience in designing research experiments related to plant physiology or functional biology, and at least one first-authored research paper in an SCI journal.
- Field Assistant: Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.Tech.) or Diploma in Agriculture, Life Sciences, or Environmental Science. Candidates with prior experience in field trials, crop management, soil sampling, greenhouse maintenance, and basic laboratory techniques are preferred.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be under 35 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
Compensation and Selection Process
The selected candidates will receive the following monthly remuneration plus 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA):
- Research Associate I: Rs. 58,000/- + HRA
- Field Assistant: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA
The selection will be conducted via an online interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified on 28 August 2026, and the interviews are scheduled for 31 August 2026.
