ESIC Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 – 128 Vacancies in Kolkata

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has announced a major recruitment drive for 128 Senior Resident positions. These posts are for a 3-year tenure on a contractual basis at the ESI-PGIMSR, ESIC Medical College & Hospital and ODC (EZ), Joka, Kolkata.

A total of 128 vacancies are available across Clinical, Non-Clinical, and Super Specialty departments:

• Non-Clinical Posts: 17 (Interview on 30.05.2026)
• Clinical Posts (Broad Specialties): 111 (Interview on 28.05.2026 & 29.05.2026)

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Senior Resident (Medical): MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty from an NMC/MCI recognized institution.
• Senior Resident (Non-Clinical): PG Medical Degree or M.Sc. with Ph.D. in Medical Anatomy/Biochemistry/Physiology.
• Senior Resident (Dental): MDS in the relevant dental specialty.
• Registration: Must be registered with NMC/MCI/State Medical Council or DCI.

Age Limit (As on Date of Interview)

• Broad Specialties: Maximum 45 years.
• Non-Clinical (Anatomy, Biochemistry, Physiology): Maximum 50 years.
• Age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per Government of India norms.

Salary and Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹1,48,669/-. Additionally, candidates are eligible for Transport Allowance and DA on Transport Allowance as per the 7th CPC rules.

Fees must be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favor of "ESI Fund Account No.1", payable at Kolkata.

Selection Process

Selection will be based solely on performance in the Walk-in-Interview. Document verification will precede the interview. If the number of candidates exceeds a 1:10 ratio, a screening test (MCQ) may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.

1. Download the application form (Annexure-I) and Verification Slip from the official ESIC website.
2. Fill out the form neatly in A4 size paper.
3. Carry original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies (Matriculation certificate, MBBS/MD/MS/MDS certificates, MCI/State Council registration, Caste certificate, etc.).
4. Report to the venue between 09:30 AM and 10:30 AM on the scheduled date.
