About ApplySarkariJob
We're not a corporation. We're eight people who got tired of bad job alert sites.
The Short Version
ApplySarkariJob started because every time we tried to find a straightforward government job notification online, we'd land on sites that were either full of broken links, wrong dates, or so many popup ads you couldn't even read the page. We figured if we were frustrated — and we'd been in this space for years — then lakhs of first-time applicants were having an even worse time.
So we built something simple: a site where every notification is verified against the original PDF, the links actually work, and you don't need to pay anyone to see the apply button.
Who Runs This
We're a team of eight — a mix of people who've cleared government exams, worked in coaching institutes, studied public administration, or spent years as education journalists. Nobody here is pretending to be something they're not. Here's what each person actually does:
- Four editors scan official gazette notifications, PSC bulletins, railway/defence/banking portals, and Employment News every single day. They read the PDF, pull out the key details, and write the summary in plain language.
- Two fact-checkers cross-verify the dates, vacancy counts, eligibility criteria, and links against the original source before anything goes live. If there's a mismatch, the post doesn't publish.
- One developer keeps the site running, fast, and mobile-friendly.
- One person handles reader queries, corrections, and feedback that comes through the contact page.
How We Verify Notifications
We don't just pick up a notification and post it. There's a process — not because we want to sound fancy, but because fake recruitment notices are a real problem in India and we don't want to be part of that.
- Source check: We only pull from domains ending in
.gov.in,.nic.in, or.ac.in. Private coaching sites, WhatsApp forwards, and social media screenshots don't count. - PDF audit: We download the actual notification PDF (not someone else's summary of it) and manually extract the dates, eligibility, vacancy counts, and fees.
- Peer review: A second person reads the draft before it goes live. If the numbers don't match the PDF, it gets flagged and corrected.
We're not perfect — government departments sometimes change dates or issue corrigendums after we've published — but when that happens we update the post and note what changed.
What We Don't Do
Honesty matters more than marketing, so let's be clear about a few things:
- We are not a government organization. We're a private informational site. We don't process applications, conduct exams, or declare results.
- We don't guarantee that every detail is 100% accurate at all times. Government notifications change, and there's always a lag before we catch it. Always read the official PDF before applying.
- We never charge money for anything. Not for notifications, not for "premium" alerts, not for coaching referrals. If someone contacts you asking for money in our name, they're lying.
Got a Problem? Tell Us.
If you spot a wrong date, a broken link, or a notification that looks suspicious — please let us know. We take corrections seriously and usually fix things within a few hours. You can reach us on the Contact page or email contact@applysarkarijob.com.
