Educational Qualification

• Degree Requirements: Regular full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engg) or 5-year integrated B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M.Tech/MBA/M.Sc from an AICTE/UGC recognized university.
• Minimum Marks (UR / EWS / OBC-NCL): Minimum 65% aggregate marks (no rounding off allowed; 64.99% is ineligible).
• Minimum Marks (SC / ST / PwBD): Minimum 60% aggregate marks (applicable only for posts reserved for respective categories).
• Passing Year Limit: Candidates must have passed their degree in 2026 or be currently in their final year (2026–2027). Candidates who completed their graduation in 2025 or earlier are not eligible.

Selection Process Overview

1. GATE 2027 Examination: Candidates must apply for and take the GATE-2027 exam in their respective paper code.
2. GAIL Portal Registration: Using the GATE-2027 Registration Number, candidates must apply online on the official GAIL careers portal during the application window.
3. Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE-2027 score card marks.
4. Further Selection & Verification: Shortlisted candidates will participate in Group Discussion / Personal Interview (to be specified in the Feb 2027 detailed notification), followed by Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
