The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has officially extended the deadline for registration to its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Learning (OL) programs for the academic session 2026-27. Prospective candidates can now submit their online applications until September 8, 2026. This extension provides an opportunity for students aiming to enroll in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses offered by this central university.
Additionally, JMI CDOE has introduced 11 new certificate and diploma programs for the current session, expanding its portfolio of flexible academic options to a total of 60 programs (49 existing and 11 new courses). Candidates applying for the entrance-based B.Ed. and MBA (ODL) programs should note that the entrance examinations have been rescheduled to September 19, 2026.

For non-entrance courses, selection is strictly based on the merit of qualifying academic marks. For entrance-based programs such as B.Ed and MBA (ODL), the entrance test will be conducted physically on the Jamia Millia Islamia campus in New Delhi. Details of the exam center venue, reporting times, and essential instructions will be specified on the admit card issued on September 14, 2026. Interview-based programs, including MBA-OL and B.Sc. Biosciences, will have their interview schedules communicated directly to eligible candidates via registered email addresses.
