Educational Qualification

• Project Associate I (PAT I): M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy/ Horticulture/ Soil Science/ Agricultural Chemistry OR M.Sc. in Botany/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Nanotechnology.
• Project Associate II (PAT II): M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agronomy/ Horticulture/ Soil Science/ Agricultural Chemistry OR M.Sc. in Botany/ Chemistry/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Nanotechnology. Additionally, 02 years of experience in Research and Development in industrial/academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities/services is mandatory.
• Project Assistant II: B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry OR B.Sc. in Biological sciences (ZBC or others).

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all Project Associate I, Project Associate II, and Project Assistant II posts is 35 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxation rules will apply as per Government of India norms.

• SC/ST/PwBD/Women: 05 Years
• OBC: 03 Years

CSIR NBRI Salary / Stipend Details

The monthly remuneration for selected candidates will vary based on the post and qualification for national-level examinations:

• Project Associate I (PAT I):
  • Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (for candidates qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE, or other National level examinations by Central Government Departments/Agencies).
  • Rs. 25,000/- + HRA (for others).
• Project Associate II (PAT II):
  • Rs. 35,000/- + HRA (for candidates qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET incl. lectureship/assistant professorship or GATE, or other National level examinations by Central Government Departments/Agencies).
  • Rs. 28,000/- + HRA (for others).
• Project Assistant II: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA.

Note: An increment of 15% may be applicable after 03 years of experience in the same project for Project Assistant II.

Selection Process
