The Defence Research and Development Establishment (DRDE), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) for the year 2026. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:

Educational Qualification

  • JRF (Chemistry): First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Physical, Analytical, Organic, or Inorganic) with a valid NET (CSIR-UGC NET JRF/LS) or GATE qualification.
  • JRF (Biological Science): First Class M.Sc. in Life Science, Zoology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, or Immunology with a valid NET (CSIR-UGC NET JRF/LS) or GATE qualification.

Age Limit (As on Interview Date)

  • Maximum Age: 28 years
  • Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Stipend and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA and other allowances as per the DRDO Headquarters policy.
