Overview of GSSSB Multi Purpose Health Supervisor Recruitment 2026
The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has issued an official notification (Advertisement No. 452/202627) for the recruitment of 119 Multi Purpose Health Supervisor (MPHS), Class-3, under the Health and Family Welfare Department. This recruitment is exclusively for male candidates.

Note: 5 posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and 11 for Ex-servicemen, adjusted within their respective categories.
Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Male candidates only.
- Age Limit: 18 to 33 years as on 15-08-2026. Age relaxations apply as per government rules.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a minimum 1-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker course, Sanitary Inspector diploma, or Health Sanitary Inspector course from a government-recognized institution. Basic computer application knowledge and proficiency in Hindi/Gujarati are mandatory.
Salary Structure
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 26,000 for the first five years. Upon successful completion of this period, they will be eligible for a regular pay scale according to the 7th Pay Commission Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100), pending outcomes of relevant Supreme Court matters.
Exam Pattern
The selection process consists of a single-stage objective MCQ-based exam (CBRT/OMR) totaling 210 marks. Part-A covers Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution, Current Affairs, and Comprehension. Part-B focuses on technical subjects related to the MPHW course.
