Overview of IIT Dharwad Recruitment 2026
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Dharwad has released the official recruitment notification for the positions of Technical Officer and Junior Technical Superintendent for the 2026-27 cycle. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be considered for these positions:
- Technical Officer: B.Tech./B.E. in CSE/ECE (min 60%) with 6 years of experience in Level 6 OR 3 years in Level 7 and above. Equivalent experience credit is provided for M.Tech./Ph.D. degree holders.
- Junior Technical Superintendent: 3-year Diploma in CSE (min 60%) with 6 years experience OR Bachelor’s degree in CS/CA (min 60%) with 5 years experience OR B.Tech./B.E. in CSE/Info Science with 3 years experience.
Age Limits and Relaxations
- Technical Officer: Maximum 42 Years
- Junior Technical Superintendent: Maximum 34 Years
- Relaxation: As per Government of India norms, SC/ST candidates receive 5 years relaxation, and OBC (NCL) candidates receive 3 years. IIT Dharwad regular employees are eligible for an additional 5-year relaxation.
Application Process
Candidates are required to apply through the official online portal. Before applying, ensure you have the following:
- Scanned copies of educational certificates and mark sheets.
- Experience certificates as proof of relevant work duration.
- Valid photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- General/OBC candidates must pay an application fee of Rs. 500/-. SC/ST and women candidates are exempted from the fee.
