Eligibility for IIT ISM Dhanbad JRF
Candidates must ensure they meet the following educational and professional requirements:
- Academic Qualification: M.Tech/M.E./MS or B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Telecommunication. Alternatively, M.Sc in Electronics or Physics (with specialization in Electronics/Photonics).
- Mandatory Requirements: Must have qualified GATE or NET.
- Desirable Skills: Proficiency in Photonics Integrated Circuits, Silicon Photonics, Microelectronics, Optoelectronics, Nanotechnology, VLSI, ANSYS Lumerical, and MATLAB.
Age Limit and Relaxation
The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates will be provided as per Government of India regulations.
Salary and Stipend
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend as follows:
- 1st and 2nd Year: Rs. 37,000/- per month
- 3rd Year: Rs. 42,000/- per month
