Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Plant Operator: HSC (10+2) or ISC with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with at least 50% aggregate marks. English must be a subject at the SSC level.
- Other Trades: SSC (10th) with 50% marks in Science and Maths individually, plus a 2-year ITI certificate in the relevant trade. For trades shorter than 2 years, 1 year of post-qualification experience is mandatory.
Age Limit (as of 29-06-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 24 Years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10-15 years).
Stipend and Post-Training Salary
During the 2-year training period, trainees will receive the following monthly stipend:
- 1st Year: ₹20,000/- per month
- 2nd Year: ₹22,000/- per month
- One-time Book Allowance: ₹3,000/-
Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be absorbed as Technician/B in Pay Level 3, with estimated monthly emoluments of approximately ₹34,720/-.
Selection Process
The selection will be strictly merit-based through a three-stage process:
- Stage 1 - Preliminary Test: A 60-minute screening test consisting of 50 MCQs (Maths, Science, and General Awareness).
- Stage 2 - Advanced Test: A 120-minute test specific to the trade/discipline. Merit lists are prepared based only on these scores.
- Stage 3 - Document Verification: Scrutiny of original certificates for shortlisted candidates.
