Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a Mini Ratna I Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, has released an official notification for the recruitment of 62 Executive Trainees. The organization is looking for talented Graduate Engineers and MBA professionals to join its diverse Strategic Business Units across India.
Vacancy Details
The recruitment drive covers 62 positions distributed as follows:
- Graduate Engineering Posts: 23 vacancies (Mechanical, Chemical, Food Tech, IT, Leather Tech)
- MBA (Equivalent) Posts: 39 vacancies (Sales & Marketing, Operations, IT Mgmt, SCM, HR, Logistics, IT-Finance)
Pay Scale and Perks
Selected candidates will be placed in the E1 grade with a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000. During the one-year training-cum-probation period, the basic pay is set at Rs. 40,000 per month, supplemented by DA (IDA pattern), HRA, medical facilities, and other perks as per company rules.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Max 25 years for Engineering posts and 27 years for MBA posts as of 09-06-2026.
- Qualification: Full-time regular B.E./B.Tech or MBA/PG Diploma in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 65% aggregate (60% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Experience: Freshers are eligible. Final year students can apply provided they meet the criteria by 08-02-2027.
Selection Process
The selection involves a multi-stage process:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Group Discussion/Group Task (if conducted)
- Personal Interview (PI)
- Medical Test
The CBT will consist of 100 objective questions covering domain-specific engineering/management subjects and general aptitude.
