Eligibility Criteria
Candidates interested in the BHU JRF vacancy must fulfill the following educational and age requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Degree: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or Nanoscience.
- Minimum Marks: At least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent in both degrees.
- Mandatory Requirement: Must be CSIR-UGC NET qualified (including lectureship) or GATE qualified.
- Desirable: Experience in Raman spectroscopy, Optical Microscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 28 years.
- Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for Female, SC, ST, and Physically Handicapped candidates as per university norms.
Salary & Stipend Details
The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend as per the following structure:
- 1st & 2nd Year: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA.
- 3rd Year: ₹43,000/- per month + HRA.
Selection Process
The recruitment for the BHU Junior Research Fellow post involves two stages:
