The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is scheduled to release the results for the Class 10 Phase 2 (Second Board) examination in the third week of June 2026. Approximately 6.68 lakh students who participated in the examinations conducted from 15 May 2026 to 21 May 2026 are awaiting their scorecards. Candidates can retrieve their results by following these steps once the portal is live:

• Visit the official results website at cbseresults.nic.in.
• Locate and click on the 'Secondary School Examination Results 2026' link.
• Input your mandatory credentials: Roll Number, School Number, Admit Card ID, and Date of Birth.
• Submit the information after completing the captcha verification.
• Review the displayed marks, download the scorecard, and retain a hard copy for institutional requirements.

Students may also utilize the DigiLocker app, UMANG app, or the IVRS system if the main server experiences high traffic.

Understanding the CBSE Best-of-Two Policy

The final marksheet for students who appeared in the second board examination is calculated based on the 'Best of Two' policy. CBSE evaluates the performance of the candidate in both Phase 1 and Phase 2 for each subject. The board retains the higher score from the two attempts, ensuring that the final result reflects the student's optimal performance rather than an average of both sittings.

Passing Criteria and Result Details

To be declared 'Pass', students must satisfy the following academic requirements:

• Theory Exam: Minimum 27 out of 80 marks.
• Internal/Practical Assessment: Minimum 7 out of 20 marks.
• Total: An aggregate of 33 out of 100 marks per subject.

The final scorecard will display individual subject marks, grade points, and the qualifying status of the candidate.

Students dissatisfied with their results or those who fail to meet the qualifying criteria may opt for the following post-result processes via the official board portal:
