Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- For specific AE (Civil) posts in GAD Vigilance, candidates with AMIE Part A & B certificates are also eligible.
Age Limit (as of 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 21 Years
- Maximum Age: 30 Years (for non-residents of Chhattisgarh).
- Age Relaxation: Local residents of Chhattisgarh are eligible for relaxation up to 40 years, with further relaxations for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/Women) up to a maximum of 45 years.
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed in the Pay Matrix Level-12 with a starting basic pay of Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500/-. Additionally, Dearness Allowance (DA) and other benefits will be applicable as per State Government rules.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two major stages:
- Written Examination: Two papers (General Studies and Engineering Subject) consisting of 300 marks each.
- Interview/Personality Test: Shortlisted candidates (3 times the vacancies) will be called for an interview carrying 75 marks.
