The Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), a premier laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has announced a recruitment drive for 16 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the walk-in interview:
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech: First Class degree in the relevant engineering discipline from a UGC recognized university with a valid GATE score.
- OR M.E./M.Tech: First Class degree in the relevant engineering discipline at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as on the date of interview).
- Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.
Stipend and Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 37,000/- plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible under the rules. The fellowship is initially for a period of two years, extendable as per DRDO regulations.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through a two-stage process:
- Shortlisting: Based on the valid GATE score and the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree.
- Walk-in Interview: Shortlisted candidates must appear for a face-to-face interview on the scheduled dates.
