DPCC Trainee Recruitment 2026: Notification for 150 Vacancies

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), under the Department of Environment, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, has released an official notification for the engagement of Trainees (Technical & Scientific) on a contractual basis. This recruitment drive aims to fill 150 tentative vacancies for fresh engineering and science graduates/post-graduates who passed out in 2023 or later.

DPCC Trainee Vacancy Details 2026

The vacancies are divided between Technical and Scientific disciplines in a 10:1 ratio. The distribution is as follows:

  • Total Vacancies: 150
  • Technical Trainees: B.E. / B.Tech (approx. 136 posts)
  • Scientific Trainees: M.Sc. (approx. 14 posts)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must ensure they meet the following educational requirements for their respective posts:

Educational Qualification

  • Technical Trainee: Full-time regular B.E. / B.Tech with First Division in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, ECE, Biomedical Engineering, Water Resources, Remote Sensing, GIS, or Hydrology.
  • Scientific Trainee: Full-time regular Master’s Degree in Science (M.Sc.) with First Division in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Life Science, Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Toxicology.

Note: Only candidates who completed their degree in 2023 or later are eligible. Preference will be given to those with a valid GATE/NET score (2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026).

Stipend Structure

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend as per the following schedule:

  • 1st Year: ₹25,000 per month
  • 2nd Year: ₹26,500 per month
  • 3rd Year: ₹28,000 per month

Selection Process

Selection will be purely merit-based:

  1. Primary Merit: Candidates with valid GATE/NET scores (2023 or later) will be given priority.
  2. Secondary Merit: If vacancies remain, candidates will be selected based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc.).
