Overview of Jharkhand ITI Admission 2026

The Directorate of Employment & Training (DET), Jharkhand has initiated the online registration process for admission into Government, Private, PPP, and CSR-affiliated Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) for the 2026-27-28 academic session. Prospective students can apply through the official state portal to secure seats in various NCVT and SCVT-approved engineering and non-engineering trade courses.

Eligibility Criteria for ITI Admission

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for admission:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 8 for trades such as Wireman, Mason, Plumber, Welder, and Sewing Technology. All other technical trades require a Class 10 (Matriculation) pass certificate.
• Domicile: Applicants must be permanent residents of Jharkhand.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 14 years old and not exceed 40 years as of 2026-08-01.

Application Process

Candidates are required to follow these steps to register successfully:

1. Visit the official website at https://iti.jharkhand.gov.in/.
2. Navigate to the 'Online Application' section for admissions.
3. Register using a valid mobile number and email ID, which will be used for all future OTP-based communication.
4. Complete the application form with personal, educational, and domicile information.
5. Select trade preferences (minimum 10 and maximum 30).
6. Upload the necessary documents, including mark sheets and category certificates.
7. Review the form carefully before final submission and keep a printed copy for record-keeping.
