Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess either of the following qualifications from a recognized University/Institution:
- Option 1: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in Ayurveda.
- Option 2: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) in Ayurveda along with 2 years of relevant experience as a Pharmacist/Compounder in a Government or Semi-Government body.
Additional Requirements: Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi language are mandatory.
Age Limit (as of May 29, 2026)
- General (Men): 18 to 35 years
- General (Women): 18 to 40 years
- Reserved Categories (Men): 18 to 40 years
- Reserved Categories (Women): 18 to 45 years
Salary and Pay Scale
The selection will be on a contractual basis for the first five years with a fixed monthly remuneration. Regular pay scales will apply thereafter.
- Initial 5 Years: Fixed Pay of ₹40,800 per month.
- Post 5 Years: Regular appointment in Level-5 (₹29,200 - ₹92,300) as per the 7th Pay Commission.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of a single-stage competitive examination:
- Written Examination (MCQ Based): A 210-mark paper comprising Part A (Reasoning, Aptitude, Constitution, and Current Affairs) and Part B (Technical Ayurveda subjects).
- Document Verification: Based on the merit list prepared from the examination scores.
Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 (1/4) for every incorrect answer. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for both sections separately.
