The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced a significant recruitment drive for the post of Junior Geologist (Laghu Bhustarshashtri), Class-3. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification

- Option 1: Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology with at least 55% marks from a recognized university.
- Option 2: Bachelor’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering with 55% or more marks.
- Additional Requirements: Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, or both.

- Maximum Age: 37 Years

Selection Process
The selection will be based on a competitive examination (CBRT/OMR format) followed by Document Verification. The exam consists of two parts:
- Part-A (90 Marks): Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, Constitution of India, Current Affairs, and Comprehension (English/Gujarati).
- Part-B (120 Marks): Technical Subject (Geology/Geosciences).
- Total: 210 Marks | Duration: 180 Minutes.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
