Overview of Allahabad High Court RO, ARO, and Computer Assistant Recruitment 2026

The High Court of Judicature at Allahabad has announced 543 vacancies for the positions of Review Officer (RO), Assistant Review Officer (ARO), and Computer Assistant. This recruitment drive, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is governed by the Allahabad High Court Officers and Staff Rules, 1976. Applications are accepted exclusively online.

Eligibility and Educational Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria as of the application closing date:

• Academic Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• Technical Qualification: Candidates must hold a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, or an 'O' Level certificate from NIELIT/DOEACC, or a 'CCC' certificate.
• Skill Requirement: Proficiency in data entry, word processing, and computer operation with a minimum English typing speed of 25 words per minute.
• Age Limit: 21-35 years for RO/ARO and 18-35 years for Computer Assistant (calculated as of 01-07-2026). Age relaxations apply for reserved categories as per U.P. government norms.

Selection Process

The selection is based on a three-stage examination process:

1. Stage I: Preliminary Examination (General Studies - 200 MCQ/200 Marks).
2. Stage II: Mains Examination (Subjective - 150 Marks).
3. Stage III: Computer Knowledge Test (Typing test - 50 Marks).

Final merit is prepared based on the aggregate of Stage II and Stage III. There is no interview round.
