The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras, on behalf of the National Coordination Board-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, has initiated the online registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal at gate2027.iitm.ac.in.

*Note: Fee concession for PwD applies only to candidates with a minimum 40% benchmark disability under RPwD Act 2016. Payment can be remitted online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
Candidates currently studying in the 3rd year or higher of any undergraduate degree program, or those who have already completed any government-approved degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities, are eligible to appear for GATE 2027. There is no minimum or maximum age limit.
