Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (as on 01-01-2027)
Candidates must be between 20 to 27 years of age. Only those born between 01 January 2000 and 01 January 2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
2. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech degree in relevant engineering streams from recognized universities.
- Final Year Students: Candidates in their final year of engineering (whose results will be declared by 01 Jan 2027) are also eligible to apply.
Salary and Benefits
Selected candidates will be commissioned in the rank of Lieutenant. During the training period at IMA Dehradun (approx. 12 months), a fixed stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month is provided. Upon commissioning, the pay scale is as follows:
- Rank: Lieutenant
- Pay Level: Level 10
- Pay Matrix: Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500
- Annual CTC: Approx. Rs. 17–18 Lakh (including allowances)
Selection Process
The recruitment process is strictly based on merit and involves the following stages:
- Shortlisting: Applications are shortlisted based on the cumulative percentage of marks in the engineering degree.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a 5-day Service Selection Board (SSB) interview (Stage I & II).
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a thorough medical evaluation.
- Final Merit List: Prepared based on SSB marks only.
