Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications
1. Project Consultant
First-class Ph.D. in the relevant branch with 10 years of industrial experience OR an outstanding Technologist with a 1st class Post Graduate degree and 10 years of experience.
2. Principal Project Scientist
M.Tech (1st Class) in EE/ECE/IT/CSE/Maths OR B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA (1st Class) with 6 years of experience.
3. Project Scientist
B.Tech with GATE / M.Sc with NET/SET / MCA with GATE (1st class) in EE/ECE/IT/CSE/Maths.
4. Research Associate
Ph.D./MS/MD/MDS OR 3 years of research/teaching/design experience after MVSc/M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech with at least one SCI Journal research paper.
5. Research Engineers (Sr./Jr.)
First-class B.Tech or M.Tech in the appropriate discipline. Relevant experience requirements vary based on the specific level (Senior/Junior).
Salary and Stipend Structure
IIT Delhi offers competitive pay scales along with a 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per institute rules:
- Project Consultant: Up to ₹1,39,150/- + 30% HRA
- Principal Project Scientist: Up to ₹1,01,610/- + 30% HRA
- Research Associate: ₹58,000/- + 30% HRA
- Project Scientist: Up to ₹62,350/- + 30% HRA
- Research Engineer: Up to ₹67,860/- + 30% HRA
