Upon successful completion of the 4-year tenure, candidates receive a Seva Nidhi corpus of ₹10.04 Lakhs (inclusive of the Agniveer contribution and matching government contribution). Additional benefits include risk and hardship allowances, insurance cover, and medical facilities.

Selection Process

The recruitment process involves the following stages:

  • Stage I: INET (Indian Navy Entrance Test) comprising a computer-based objective exam.
  • Stage II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT), followed by a second written examination and a recruitment medical examination.
  • Stage III: Pre-enrolment medical examination at INS Chilka.
