The National Testing Agency has published the provisional Answer Key along with the question paper and response sheets for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor (All India). The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the provisional answer key for the CSIR UGC NET June 2026 examination by July 31, 2026, or within the first week of August 2026. The examination was conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on July 17 and 18, 2026, for five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

If a candidate identifies a discrepancy in the provisional answer key, they may challenge it within the designated window. Follow this procedure:
Following the closure of the objection window, a panel of subject experts will review all challenges. Valid objections will be incorporated into the evaluation process, and the final answer key will be published. The CSIR NET 2026 results and subject-wise cutoff marks will be determined based on this final version. Candidates must note that no further objections will be accepted after the release of the final answer key.
The fee is ₹200 per question, which is non-refundable regardless of the outcome of the challenge.
