The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially extended the application deadline for the UGC NET June 2026 examination. Candidates who have not yet submitted their forms now have until 23 May 2026 to complete the process. This extension provides a final window for aspirants to register for the National Eligibility Test.

Revised Application and Correction Schedule

  • Extended Last Date for Application: 23 May 2026 (up to 10:00 AM)
  • Last Date for Fee Payment: 23 May 2026 (up to 11:50 PM)
  • Application Correction Window: 25 May 2026 to 27 May 2026

The application fee must be paid through the official NTA portal using online modes such as Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The structure is as follows:

  • General (Unreserved): ₹1150
  • General-EWS / OBC-NCL: ₹600
  • SC / ST / PwD / Third Gender: ₹325
