Overview of UPSSSC Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Recruitment 2026
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has issued the official notification (Advertisement No. 19-Pariksha/2026) for the recruitment of 134 Avar Abhiyanta (Junior Engineer - Agriculture) under the Directorate of Agriculture, Uttar Pradesh. This is a Main Examination-based recruitment process exclusive to candidates who qualified in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the following requirements before applying:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a 3-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, UP, or an equivalent qualification recognized by AICTE. A High School certificate is also mandatory.
- PET Requirement: Applicants must have appeared for PET-2025 and hold a valid score. Candidates with zero or negative normalized scores are ineligible.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be aged between 18 and 40 years as of 1 July 2026. Age relaxation applies for reserved categories per government norms.
